Green River American Cherry is famous for its luxurious, rich, red heartwood. It has been prized by generations for its inherent beauty, needing no embellishment. The lumber we use comes from Pennsylvania and Southern New York, the world's most renowned Cherry producing areas.

Green River Clear American Cherry is sorted for rich, red heartwood, and contains minimal sapwood (less than 5%). We keep the color as uniform as possible by grading out the lighter and darker toned pieces. Lengths range from 11" - 7', averaging approximately 3.00'.

Green River Common & Better American Cherry contains all of the natural coloration and characteristics of this specie, including sound knots, streaks and color variations. Character marks reveal information about the life of a tree. Many of us who work with wood prefer the visually interesting appearance of Natural grades. An occasional hole of less than 1⁄2” in diameter may need to be filled. Lengths range from 11" - 7', averaging approximately 2.25'.
